Honfleur

Home of my French ancestors.

That's what I'm talking about.

Wooden church made by ship builders. Note that Honfleur was the town that Samuel de Champlain set sail from.

Castle

Ah, swords and canons. Sometimes I feel I was born 500 years too late.

Scottish "walk"

A "walk" usually starts with a little driving. To the Highlands.

Then you freeze.

Then you drink beer.

Then you pick a high valley and hike, I mean walk.

Until you hit snow...then you turn around and go back to the pub.

Wait, no. You keep going. A little gale force breeze, some shin deep snow, freezing temperatures, ice coated rocks, rime on your legs. No biggie. You climb(I mean walk) to the summit (in sneakers), just like your hardy ancestors.

Then....you go back to the pub! (if you make it down alive)

Edinburgh

Front of James and Verena's house. Camera is definitely blurry.

Breakfast, Scottish style.

Some good 'ol Skinny Cow. (?)

High end Jaffa Cakes

Jaffa a la James.

Some Swiss Raclette

So good!

At this point I'm not sure if it's the camera that was getting blurry or my own vision.

Cheese close up.

Paris

The usual suspects...
